Government Polytechnic, Gondia is one of the premier institutions in Vidarbha region and started in Naxal affected area in 2009 which is run by Government of Maharashtra. Present annual intake of the institute is 360.
This institute aims to develop the eminent engineers who are competent and committed to the highest professional standards in the field of engineering and technology.
This institute has a land of 5.64 Hectares(about 13.93 acres). The construction of this institute is in developing phase. Phase I construction consisting of Main building, Class rooms , laboratories, computer lab, canteen etc is completed. Phase II consisting of Boys and girls hostels, workshop and library is completed recently and Phase III consisting of principals quarter, staff quarters, guest rooms , etc is in progress. Institute is committed to provide a quality education to the students.
