DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
About the Department
Department of Mechanical Engineering is established in 2009 with intake of 60 students. Starting from 3 Labs , the department has developed 10 Labs to cope up requirement of MSBTE curriculum for each practical subject. In the year The department has developed to 3 smart class rooms, 1 smart CAD/Cam Lab and one digital projector in Drawing Hall. This department was accredited by National Board of Accreditation in 2022 for the period of3 years. For overall development of the students, the department is associated with following Professional societies chapters –
1. Indian Society for Technical education Student Chapter ( ISTE).
2. Mechanical Engineering Technical Club (METC).
The department has highly qualified & motivated Faculties and staff. Besides academic, department motivates the students for overall development training policy of the institute. The department is awarded with “Excellent” grade by External Academic Monitoring, MSBTE, Mumbai.
